Senior Executive Assistant to the President
Angela McClintock, is a native New Orleans, La. She accepted Christ at a young age under the leadership of her maternal grandfather, the late Rev. Royal Jackson of Second Highway Baptist Church, located in Marrero, La. A life-altering incident caused Angela’s family to relocate to Hitchcock, Texas where Angela completed her primary education. After completing her first semester at Texas City High School, Angela’s mother received a promotion on her job and had to relocate to Houston, Tx.
Angela graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School. During Angela’s free time, she would assist her mother with managing her mother’s business, Fashions by Ivy, a clothing boutique for women. Angela then decided to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management degree. Angela ranked in the top five percent of her class with a Magna Cum Laude honor at Wiley University in Marshall, Tx. After graduating, Angela moved to Atlanta, Ga. For several years, she worked for a mega church in the Metro Atlanta area. During this time, Angela realized she was in training to do God’s will. She had a desire to pursue counseling and attended Argosy University.
Angela relocated to Houston. For six years, Angela worked for First Data until Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston. First Data decided to close the Houston site and gave the option to stay and be laid off or relocate to other sites.
Angela sought God for direction and decided to stay in Houston and began working at Lakewood Church. This was an answered prayer. Over the years, God blessed her to work with many God-ordained churches, such as House of Prayer, Luis Palau Ministries, and World Changers Church International.
Angela works along aside her husband, Pastor Roderick McClintock, President of Upward Bound Ministries, Inc, a non-profit 501(c) 3 charity organization, and co-founder of The Dream Center, a multi-cultural non-denomination worship assembly.
Angela resides in the Houston Metro area with her husband and their three loving and talented children.
